      This Privacy Policy describes how Stargazer Media LLC ("Company","we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website at gostargazer.com (the "Service"). Please read this policy carefully. By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.

      Throughout this Privacy Policy, the following terms have the meanings set out below:

      • Account — a unique account created for you to access the Service.

      2. Data We Collect

      2.1 Personal Data You Provide

      When you use the Service we may ask you to provide:

      • First name and last name
      • Email address
      • Payment information (processed and stored by Stripe — we do not store card details)
      • Intro customization inputs (title text, subtitle text, theme selection)

      2.2 Usage Data

      We automatically collect certain information when you visit the Service, including your device's IP address, browser type and version, the pages you visit, the time and date of your visit, time spent on those pages, and other diagnostic data.

      2.3 Video Content and Temporary Storage

      When you use the Service to create video intros, we temporarily store the generated video files on our servers. All video files and associated content are automatically and permanently deleted 30 days after the date of creation.

      During this 30-day period, your videos are stored securely and accessible only to you via the unique link sent to your email. If you wish to request earlier deletion, contact us at contact@gostargazer.com and we will process the request within 48 hours.

      2.4 Tracking Technologies and Cookies

      We use cookies and similar tracking technologies (beacons, tags, scripts) to track activity on the Service and store certain information. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent; however, if you do not accept cookies some parts of the Service may not function correctly.

      We use the following types of cookies:

      • Session Cookies — essential cookies that expire when you close your browser.
      • Persistent Cookies — cookies that remain on your device to remember your preferences and improve your experience on future visits.
      • Analytics Cookies — used by Google Analytics to help us understand how the Service is used.

      3. How We Use Your Data

      Company may use your Personal Data to:

      • Provide and maintain the Service, including processing your intro orders and delivering completed videos.
      • Manage your account and authenticate your identity.
      • Process payments via Stripe, our payment processor.
      • Send transactional communications — order confirmations, video delivery links, and support responses.
      • Send marketing communications about new themes, promotions, and updates, where you have not opted out.
      • Analyze and improve the Service using aggregated and anonymized usage data.
      • Comply with legal obligations, including tax and financial regulations.
      • Enforce these Terms and protect against fraudulent or unlawful activity.

      4. Data Retention

      We retain your Personal Data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy and to comply with our legal obligations. Specific retention periods:

      • Video content: Automatically and permanently deleted 30 days after creation.
      • Usage Data: Retained for up to 2 years for analytical purposes.
      • Transaction records: Retained for 7 years to comply with tax and financial regulations.
      • Account and profile data: Retained for the duration of your relationship with us plus up to 3 years thereafter, unless you request earlier deletion.

      When we no longer need to retain your Personal Data, we will securely delete or anonymize it in accordance with applicable data protection laws.


      5. Transfer of Your Data

      Your information, including Personal Data, is processed at Company's operating offices in the United States and by third-party Service Providers who may be located in other countries. By submitting your information, you consent to this transfer. Company takes all reasonable steps to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy wherever it is processed.


      6. Security of Your Data

      We take the security of your Personal Data seriously and employ commercially reasonable measures, including:

      • Encryption of data in transit using SSL/TLS protocols
      • Encryption of sensitive data at rest
      • Regular security audits and vulnerability assessments

      However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of your data.

      Stargazer's intro creator allows you to generate videos inspired by popular cinematic and television styles. All brand names, franchise names, character names, logos, and associated intellectual property referenced on or through the Service — including but not limited to Star Wars, Marvel, Harry Potter, Breaking Bad, Netflix, Disney, Warner Bros., and similar properties — are the exclusive property of their respective owners.

      Stargazer Media LLC is not affiliated with, endorsed by, licensed by, or sponsored by any of these rights holders. Our Service generates stylistically-inspired content and does not reproduce, copy, or distribute copyrighted audiovisual works or trademarked logos owned by third parties.


      8. Third-Party Services

      8.1 Google Analytics

      We use Google Analytics to understand how users interact with the Service. Google Analytics collects information sent by your browser as part of a web page request, including cookies and your IP address. Google's use of this information is governed by the Google Privacy Policy. You may opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

      8.2 Stripe (Payment Processing)

      We use Stripe to process payments. When you make a purchase, your payment information is transmitted directly to Stripe and is governed by the Stripe Privacy Policy. We do not store your card details on our servers.

      8.3 Cloudflare

      We use Cloudflare for performance, security, and bot protection (including Cloudflare Turnstile for form verification). Cloudflare's use of data is governed by the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

      8.4 Third-Party Links

      Our Service may contain links to other websites not operated by us. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of every website you visit. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content or privacy practices of any third-party websites.
